Dairy Shrink Bundler 

The Dairy PH machine by Polypack is engineered specifically for the demands of the dairy industry. Built with stainless steel and equipped with a water guard package, this shrink bundling solution ensures clean, hygienic, and efficient packaging for a wide range of dairy containers., including gable top milk cartons, ice cream rounds and squrounds, tapered yogurt cups, milk jugs, aseptic cartons and ice cream novelties.

The Polypack Dairy PH is designed for smooth, controlled shrink wrapping in high-output dairy packaging applications. Product enters on the infeed conveyor and accumulates at the staging area, where the product stop aligns each row for transfer. 

Once the product is staged, the motorized main pusher advances it through the film curtain and across the seal bar area. Upper and lower film feed assemblies use dancer bars to sense film demand and dispense film at the proper tension for a clean, consistent wrap. After the pusher retracts, the seal bar completes the seal, and the wrapped product waits on the dead plate until the next pusher cycle advances it onto the tunnel conveyor.

The tunnel conveyor uses a flush grid, high-temperature belt to carry the film-wrapped product through the shrink tunnel. Inside the tunnel, replaceable slide-in heater banks, adjustable internal baffles and controlled airflow provide an even shrink around the package.

To support a wide range of dairy products and package formats, the Dairy PH can be configured with optional handling modules based on the product, speed and application requirements. Options may include diverters, product inverters, lane-dividing equipment, stabilization systems, stacking systems, gates, clamp mechanisms and integrated pad dispensing. Whether wrapping yogurt cups, milk bottles, aseptic cartons or other dairy products, the Dairy PH provides a clean, efficient and reliable shrink wrapping solution for demanding production environments.

Polypack’s water guard package is tailored for washdown environments. It includes corrosion-resistant components such as stainless steel motors, sealed bearings, anodized gear reducers, and uncoated rod conveyors. Perforated safety doors, hygienic feet, and a NEMA 4X-rated enclosure help simplify sanitation and protect equipment, ensuring reliable, low-maintenance operation in dairy settings.
