Case packing
Polypack offers integrated cardboard case packers to create a complete distribution-ready packaging system. A discharge gantry picks up the products from the conveyor and loads them into pre-erected RSCs. Our case packers are capable of handling multi-layer case packing operations as well as single-layer applications.
High-count Brick Packs
High count brick packs offer a rigid and stable solution for small round products such as bottles and vials. These packs are created by nesting the products into offset rows. Once collated, the brick pack is then shrink wrapped in total closure to create a dense, solid package ready for distribution. We also offer an optional integrated case packer that can load the shrink-wrapped brick packs into a pre-erected RSC.
pick & place
Polypack holds a patent on picking up products and placing them directly onto the shrink film for wrapping, where it remains for the entire shrink wrap process. This system is a one-time transfer solution, making it ideal for odd-shaped or unstable containers such as oval bottles and tubes. The ROKH® system is our patented Pick & Place system, and our expertise in this area is found in the TUBE series shrink wrappers, in our integrated case packers, and even in our wraparound system.
ovals
Polypack's ILB uses an Inline Bucket conveyor in which products are placed directly onto the film for shrink wrapping. Using an integrated ROKH® pick and place system, unstable oval bottles can be shrink wrapped automatically while eliminating product transfers found in other systems.
Cartons
Polypack manufactures shrink wrap equipment and specializes in product collation. This particular PH Series machine uses a pop-up elevator that is used for progressive stacking of chipboard cartons.
Aerosols
Polypack designs and manufactures shrink wrap equipment that is specifically designed for aerosol cans. These machines are available for clear film, random printed film, or print-registered film applications. These machines feature tunnel run-out features for added safety and are also available with integrated fire suppression systems.
Tubes
Polypack's TUBE Series machines use patented technology to pick up tubes and place them right onto the shrink film for wrapping. These machines are also available with an integrated case packer at the back end to load the shrink wrapped tubes into pre-erected RSCs for shipping/distribution.
