Wrap Trays with Perforated Film

The Polypack IL tray wrapper is designed to wrap product-filled trays in printed and perforated film for retail-ready or distribution-ready packaging. In this configuration, loaded trays enter on the infeed conveyor and move toward the wrapping section, where the machine draws film from both the upper and lower film feeds to create a film curtain around the tray. The upper film feed dispenses the printed film while the lower film feed dispenses clear film. As the tray moves through the machine, the film perforation unit creates small holes in the printed film to make the package easier for end users to open. The tray then passes through the seal bar assembly, where the film is sealed and cut, before moving across the transfer conveyor and into the shrink tunnel, where controlled heat tightens the film around the tray to create a clean, consistent finished package.
