Wrap Aerosol Cans in Printed Film

The Polypack FIL is designed to wrap aerosol cans in printed film for retail-ready or distribution-ready packaging. In this configuration, product enters on the infeed conveyor, where a clamp and gate system controls product flow before the staging fly bar assembly and lug conveyor move the bundle into the forming head. Inside the forming head, flat wound film is shaped around the product and the drag seal creates the bottom film seam to form a bag around the bundle. The vacuum conveyor then pulls the wrapped product through the forming head and into the vertical seal bar assembly, where the film is sealed and cut. From there, the bundle moves across the transfer conveyors and onto the tunnel conveyor, then through the shrink tunnel, where controlled heat tightens the film around the product group to create a consistent finished package. An air evacuation system is also included to help evacuate heated air from the tunnel in fault or stop conditions.

With its forming head, vacuum conveyor, vertical seal bar assembly and shrink tunnel, the Polypack FIL is well suited for total-closure shrink wrapping, printed film aerosol packaging, aerosol can multipacks and retail-ready packaging applications. This style of wrapping fully encloses the product bundle in film rather than creating an open bullseye pack, making it a strong solution for applications that need more complete film coverage.
