Shrink Bundler for Ice Cream Tubs

The Polypack Dairy PH machine is designed to wrap tubs of ice cream in shrink film for retail-ready or distribution-ready packaging. In this configuration, product enters on the infeed conveyor and moves to the diverter, which separates the incoming lane into two lanes feeding the staging area in front of the pusher. The product stop / decompression system aligns the tubs and relieves pressure on the incoming product before the double tube pusher advances the bundle through the film curtain. Film from the upper and lower film feeds forms a sleeve around the product group, and the seal bar assembly then seals and cuts the film before the bundle moves onto the tunnel conveyor and through the shrink tunnel, where controlled heat creates a tight, consistent finished package.


Built for dairy applications, this PH configuration combines dual-lane product handling, controlled pusher-style bundling and bullseye shrink wrapping in one system. The machine uses a double tube pusher to move grouped tubs through the wrapping section while the product clamp keeps incoming product in place during the push cycle. The shrink tunnel uses heater banks, adjustable internal baffles and a tunnel divider to help control heat and airflow for a consistent shrink.
