My First Pack Expo

Just attended my first Pack Expo, and boy, did I learn a lot! Here are some personal tips to help you make the most of your trip:

Comfy Shoes for Happy Feet: Trust me, you'll thank yourself for wearing those comfy shoes. My feet were sore by the end of the day, and I wished I had opted for extra cushioning.

Prepare for Info Overload, Seriously!: The sheer amount of innovation and information can be overwhelming. I wish I had a better game plan the first time around. Do some research on the exhibitors in advance and prioritize your must-see list.

Hotel Research Matters: Oh, and speaking of hotels, do some research on yours. I once ended up with a hotel room right by a roller coaster, and let's just say, it wasn't the peaceful night's sleep I was hoping for.

Dress Cool and Stay Hydrated: Las Vegas can get scorching. Lightweight, breathable clothing is a lifesaver, and don't forget to carry your water bottle – avoid having to pay $4 for a small bottle of water!

Pre-book Dinner Reservations: The city's restaurants can get packed, so make those dinner reservations in advance to avoid hungry waits.

Transport Hacks: Taking the bus is a game-changer. No more endless Uber lines or parking hassles. Plus, it's a great way to meet fellow attendees.

Catch a Vegas Show: Las Vegas is known for its entertainment. After a day at the expo, treating yourself to a show is a fantastic way to unwind.

Network is Key: Don't be shy. Network with fellow attendees, and be sure to bring more business cards than you think you'll need.

Pack Light: Leave those heavy bags behind; a lightweight tote or backpack is all you need.

Download the Event App: Don't forget to download the event app for maps, schedules, and exhibitor info. It's a lifesaver.

Scope Out the Best Giveaways: While you're there, be on the lookout for booths with the best giveaways. I stumbled upon one with robot arms making coffee and another by Polypack serving pina coladas!

Take Breaks: Lastly, remember to take short breaks to recharge. Trade shows can be intense, and pacing yourself is key to staying energized.

Wishing you an incredible time at Pack Expo Las Vegas, and here's to avoiding those roller coaster-view hotel rooms! Enjoy the experience to the fullest
