WRAP AROUND CASE PACKERS

Polypack's WR Series case packers are wrap around case packers that are designed to offer up to 30% savings on corrugate consumption when compared to traditional RSC cases.

Unlike traditional RSC cases that are folded and glued, Wrap Around case packers use a completely flat die-cut blank.The first folds are executed as the blank is loaded into the bucket conveyor. After the product is loaded into the blank, the side tabs are folded in, and a top flap is folded and glued against the back side of the case. The side flaps from the top side of the case are then glued and folded down, completing the process. This process eliminates the need for expensive pre-folded and glued RSC cases.

With corrugated wrap around packaging, a sheet of cardboard is die-cut and folded. For a case, the flaps, overlapping each other, are located at the bottom and at the top, as the case is generally filled from the top. Wrap around packaging equipment significantly reduces the amount of corrugate overlaps while still providing a strong case that delivery superb palletizing and distribution integrity. The wrap around case packaging represents a huge amount of material costs savings over a traditional RSC case.
