MAINTENANCE MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Polypack, a leader in the Packaging Industry is currently accepting applications for the position of Mechanical Engineer.  Applicants should have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop new equipment to meet customer/market requirements and improve existing products to better meet customer needs.  Our engineers generate design layouts, detail and assembly drawings (design/develop parts and assemblies) using AutoCAD and Solidworks.  They also assist in the assembly of the equipment.
 
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position must have 3 years working experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of sheet metal design and configurations.  They must also be familiar with all phases of engineering design including: layouts, production drawings, specifications and design calculations.  Experience in manufacturing processes (materials, material finishes & assembly) is also required.

Candidate should have a portfolio showing previous experience.
Experience using Solidworks PDM Vault and VB programming is a plus, but not required.
